Fish Sculptures

I have been creating these one-of-a-kind pieces for a few years now and have found them very interesting to design and bring to life! These multi media pieces have allowed me to explore many new materials such as aluminum, copper, nails, beads, thread, metal thread and many of these materials have found their way into some of my mix media paintings.

I have been also taking commissions on a few fish – some customers are in need of a certain size.

New Work!

This mixed media piece has been created for the Marblehead Festival of the Arts online auction where the proceeds go to student scholarships! Auction opens in June ( stayed tuned!) Each year 50+ artists are asked to create a cod. Everyone gets the same size/shape wooden cod and it is amazing to see all the originality and variety! My cod is made out of copper pellets, copper thread, glass beads from Venice, nails on wood. I wanted the title to give a suggestion to fish roe – I was intrigued with the beauty of the copper pellets and how they suggest fish eggs!
